ELEANOR PHILLIPS

Biography

Eleanor Phillips received her BA in Fine Art from NCAD Dublin (2002) and completed her M.A. Art in Public (2009) at the University of Ulster, Belfast. She is primarily concerned with understanding an individual’s relationship with community, how one influences the other in terms of identity and power, and understanding how culture determines emotions. She works primarily through conversation and collaboration with people who may not normally identify themselves as artists.
