WELCOME TO FLAXART STUDIOS
Flaxart is an artist-run organisation that was founded in 1989 by a group of recent graduates seeking space to make large-scale sculpture and installation artworks. We are funded by The Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Belfast City Council.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to support and promote emerging and established contemporary visual artists from Belfast and beyond, through affordable artist-run studios, to sustain and develop local, regional and international initiatives and to promote research and community outreach projects.
