Biography

Mike Hogg has a BA and MA in Fine Art. He has created numerous works for the public realm and is interested in how locations and their history can suggest different imagery.

	WEIGHTS (2000) Mike Hogg (with the Markets Development Association) Location: Cromac Springs, Maysfield, Belfast Commissioner: Laganside Corporation and Sustrans DESCRIPTION: Three stainless steel weights on a bed of tiles with reflective text, recalling the heyday of the Belfast markets.
	BRONZE DISC (1998) Mike Hogg Location: Gasworks, Belfast Commissioner: Belfast City Council, Laganside Corporation DESCRIPTION: The bronze disc contains an historic map of the Gasworks site showing Cromac Wood, which predates the Gasworks.
